Are Kudu Cosmetica skincare products suitable for sensitive skin?
Our formulations are created with a focus on gentle, skin-supporting ingredients. Many customers with sensitive skin enjoy our products; however, as every skin type is unique, we recommend performing a patch test before first use.
How are Kudu's products made?
Kudu Cosmetica products are crafted in small, fresh batches to preserve the integrity and potency of each ingredient.
Working in this way allows us to maintain a high level of quality while ensuring every product remains pure, fresh, and effective.
Are your products fragranced?
Some of our products contain subtle, natural fragrances derived from essential oils, while others are completely fragrance-free. Each product page clearly indicates its composition.
Our studio
We are based in Stanford in the Western Cape of South Africa, an all together fantastic place!
Animal testing
No! We are 100% cruelty free. We don’t test on animals or source ingredients from companies that carry out animal testing.
Are your products vegan?
Most Kudu Cosmetica products are vegan. Our Body Creams contain beeswax, a natural ingredient used to create a rich, protective texture that seals in moisture into the skin. For this reason the Body Cream collection is not vegan.
What does the name Kudu stand for?
Angelica, the founder chanced upon the tale ‘the Kudu and the tree of life’ while reading African fables to her youngest son. In the story, the Kudu returns to the other animals in the Kingdom after a long quest bringing back the secrets of the tree and it’s life giving fruits. We're all about keeping it natural and the name just felt right.
What skin types are Kudu's products suitable for?
Our formulations are designed to support a range of skin types, including normal, dry, combination, and sensitive skin.
We focus on gentle, skin-supporting ingredients that help nourish, balance, and protect the skin. As every skin is unique, we recommend choosing products based on your individual needs and performing a patch test before first use.
Where should I store Kudu's products?
Kudu and all your other skincare products should be stored in a cool, dark place. Plant-based skincare ingredients tend to be photo or light sensitive. We bottle our products in dark, amber glass containers to both protect the antoxidant rich, bio-active botanical ingredients from air and UV light and to extend shelf life.
How do I use facial oil?
Facial oils are typically applied as the final step in a skincare routine to help seal in hydration. Warm a few drops between your hands and gently press into clean skin. Kudu Cosmetica facial oils are designed to nourish the skin barrier and enhance natural radiance.
Are your products safe for pregnant/breastfeeding women?
Though the ingredients used in our products are natural and organic and safer than the potentially harmful ingredients found in conventional products, some natural ingredients are contraindicated for pregnancy. If you have any questions or concerns about certain ingredients, please consult your physician.
What is the shelf life of Kudu Cosmetic products?
The typical shelf life of our products is 24 months. All products have an open container logo on their label which provides the peak potency period.
Do you use palm oil in your products?
No, we do not use Palm oil in any of our products. Ethical sourcing and sustainability is of utmost importance to our brand.
Can I recycle my Kudu products?
Yes. Place outer carton into paper recycling. Clean the pipette with warm water then gently remove it from the dropper by pulling downward, and recycle. Next, remove the soft bulb and discard it in the trash. Rinse the glass bottle thoroughly and recycle.

Our products are EU and UK compliant in accordance with Regulation (EU) No.1223/2009).
Do you work with wholesalers?

What payment forms do you accept?
We partner with PayFast, Peach Payments and Yoco, South Africa's leading secure payment processors to offer a number of additional payment methods, including Apple Pay, credit/cheque cards (American Express, Mastercard, Diners and Visa) and debit card payments. We process credit cards from anywhere in the world. We offer a number of additional payment methods.

Once you have confirmed your order and are ready to pay, you will be directed to our payment processing page where payments are generated.
Is shopping on kuducosmetica.com secure?
We understand how important security is to you. At no point do we have access to your card details or personal information. The platform we are hosted on is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and ensures that sensitive financial information like credit and debit card details are protected from third parties during online transactions. This is an advanced consumer online security technique. Please contact us here with any questions.
How do I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, simply log into your Kuducosmetica.com account and select “Order History” in the “My Account” page. If you still have questions about your order, please contact customer care here with your order number and preferably the order confirmation email and we will get back to you ASAP.
Shipping & Returns
How much does shipping cost (SA)?
Standard home delivery is R75 I FREE over R650
How will my order be shipped?
We partner with some of South Africa's leading courier companies (The Courier Guy, RAM etc.). They will deliver your order directly to you.
How long will shipping take (SA)?
Delivered in two-to-four working days, between 8am + 5pm for main centres: CPT, JHB, PTA
Up to seven working days for regional and remote areas
Does Kudu Cosmetica ship internationally?
We offer international shipping via DHL or UPS.
Orders typically arrive within 4–10 working days, depending on the destination country. All shipments include tracking, so you can follow your order every step of the way.
Shipping fees range from approximately USD $44–$84, depending on the weight of your order.
Please note that for orders outside of South Africa, Kudu Cosmetica is not responsible for any taxes, customs duties, or import charges that may be applied by the destination country.
At this time, we do not accept returns on international orders.

All orders are dispatched from South Africa.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders submitted on kuducosmetica.com process and ship very quickly. We will do our best to modify an existing order if you contact customer care here, but we offer no guarantee that your order will be canceled or modified. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

What is your return policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Only items purchased on the Kudu Cosmetica website can be returned to kuducosmetica.com. Items purchased elsewhere must be returned to their original point of purchase.
How do I start a return
Reach out to our Customer Care Team here with your order number to start the return process. Our Customer Care Team will provide return instructions within 3 business days of your request.
Can I return an international order?
Unfortuantely we are not accept returns on International orders.

Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and let you know whether your item is eligible for a refund. If your return is approved, we will promptly issue a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
